Extension Hair Care

Today, the hair extension has become a common procedure for those who want a long and thick hair instantly. But the hair extension that use hot glue and ring, need an extra care to keep it durable, good, and not damage the original hair.

The Problems that Often Occured by Extensioned Hair:
      Tangle
Usually hair at the root part is tangled, because it is not reached by a comb that can damage the extension, and maybe also rubbed too hard when shampooing the hair.
      Dandruff
Dandruff that occured by hair extensions usually because the shampoo is not washed cleanly, or do other hair treatments such as creambath.
      Hair Fall
The grafting of hair extension to the original hair, will increase the burden on the hair root. Brittle hair roots are not able to withstand the burden of long hair and often cause the hair fall.

Extension Care:
      Shampooing
There are several steps that needed to be considered when washing the hair:
1.       Before shampooing, comb the hair firstly using a brush comb, so when you wash your hair, it’ll be not too tangled
2.      Pour the shampoo and rub until frothy in the palm of the hand. And then apply it to the scalp. Follow the lines of hair and do not brush harshly to prevent hair tangled.
3.       Then wash your hair clearly.
4.     For the glued hair extension, dry hair after shampooing naturally with a finger dry technique. Use your fingers to split apart your hair so the glue on your hair don’t fused to each other.
5.     Use the hair conditioner only on the ends of your hair, in order not to weaken the extension, but keep the moisture of the hair and it can combed easily.

      Styling and Treatment
Heat is the enemy of hair extension. So when do blow dry, clamp, or curling, do not too close to the root of the hair and the extension area.
During the treatment process such as creambath or hair spa, try to keep the steam process not too long. Only about 10-15 minutes to absorb the nutrients cream for hair. Too long steam can loss the glue and loosen the ring because of slippery hair conditions.

Tips:
Hair extension derived from 100% human hair or synthetic. You must choose the 100% human hair, because it is easier to be treated, styled, and colored.
Chlorine and salt water can stimulate the tangled hair, so when swimming you should wear haircap.
Make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep if you do not want your hair tangled when you wake up.
Choose a shampoo that is separated from the conditioner, because the 2 in 1 shampoo can cause the glue and the ring easily separated from the extension.
You should wash your hair once in 2 days and use the hair tonic to strengthen the root of your hair and prevent the hair fall.
