It’s Tea Time Part. 2


These are the tea types that good for our health:
1.   Jasmine Tea
Jasmine tea is the most popular tea in Indonesia. Indonesia has been producing and exporting this tea  to various countries in the world for a long time. Mixture of tea leaves and jasmine petals makes very special aroma.


The benefits of this tea:
Jasmine tea has an anti-oxidant that protects cells from damage and the aging process, and protects red blood cells from death caused by free radicals. The antioxidants also help the body absorb less fat and cholesterol. Based on research at Tel Aviv University, the aroma of jasmine flowers can reduce the potential of breast cancer and prostate cancer. And the researchers from Kyoto University said that essential oils and aroma of jasmine has a calming effect and can generate positive passion.


2.   White Tea
Due to its complicated process, this tea is still expensive and rare in the market (but widely produced in China, Japan and India). The types are: white peony, golden moon, silver needle, or white cloud.


The benefit of this tea:
Compared with green tea, white tea contains more EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) and caffeine (the higher the quality of tea, the higher the caffeine). Both are proven fat burners and weight fighters. Powerful treatment of colon cancer, relieve the tumor, inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause infections (such as acute pharyngitis, dengue fever, pneumonia and caries) and relieve the fungal infections. Studies in Oregon State University said that white tea slows down the aging of the skin, such as wrinkles and pigmentation. Use the cream that contains white tea to prevent dry skin, wrinkles, and chapped skin. White tea contains more nutrients than black or green tea. Making it mightiest and the ultimate health tea.

3.   Green Tea
This is the most familiar tea. Green tea is one type of tea made from camellia sinensis leaves, which suffered little oxidation process. Recommended for the dieters and often called “the wonder drug" because of its benefits.

The benefits of this tea:
This tea contains polyphenols that can reduce the blood sugar and weight, prevent heart attack / stroke, and as a natural high blood pressure medicine. Green tea reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease (circulatory system) and reduces the risk of food poisoning. It’s also smoothen the blood circulation and reduce muscle spasms. Gargle with green tea to increase immunity against bacteria and viruses. But there are side effects, oxidative stress and liver toxicity in certain doses. Don’t consume the green tea excessively. Pregnant women should not drink green tea. Give the distance of 2 hours between consume medicine and consume green tea, because it inhibits the absorption of certain drugs.
